Missing Bread Knife

Like others here, we had assumed the 8" Bread Knife was included with the set and noticed Christmas morning after opening and felt we had been shorted. Not thrilled. We are normally happy with our Calphalon items we have purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed!

I was looking forward to getting these knives, for Christmas. At first they exceeded my expectations and I loved them, right out of the box! As the past 2 months went by, I started noticing that little chunks were missing from a couple of the knives. I also noticed rusting! Such a disappointment! I’m not sure what to do, but after only having the knives since Christmas( 2017) I expected them to look like new for a lot longer!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't come with a bread knife... so I went online to purchase one and there isn't one that matches my classic set. ???????

I really like the knives & great customer service

They really thought through with the design. I love the design. They are light-weight, well balanced in my hand and the grip feels nice and not bulky. I like the classic look with the black handles and the rivets. They perform well, you just need to take care of them. Don't just throw them in the dishwasher; hand wash them. I like that they are backed with lifetime warranty.

I love these self-sharpening knives. Our old set wasn't and it's taking some time to get used to having sharp knives again. They are easy to clean and look really good on the counter.
