Not as effective

Have been using the cartridge/pad version for years with spectacular results! At home we don’t have a mosquito problem but the old version works to get rid of the flies and other annoying insects. This one does very little to take care of that. Going to take both to the beach where we do have mosquitoes and see if the different chemicals are effective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of money

As so many other reviewers have stated: bought this last year (along with a refill so I'd be ready for this summer) but it will not charge! And now that it's discontinued I probably can't even sell the unused refill on eBay! Waste of money!

Casing too fragile

Two purchases of the same product and both times the casing cracks into pieces without falling on the floor. Totally rotten product. See both products broken everywhere.

This device worked well last year. this year will not charge..After going to buy 2 new cartages my device is garbage

Effective gadget

Thankful to my new find that allow me and my family to enjoy outdoors worry free, no scent and so effective thermacell repellent, easy to assemble and can be used as guard in several occasions from mosquitoes, hunting, fishing, hiking outdoors, while family or single person having nature adventures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Throw away refills, really !!!

HI, just purchased your product which works very well....
BUt I am very disappointed with the fact that you have a heavy plastic throw away refill cartrige system. should I have lnow this, I will not have purchased.
In these times where plastic polutions is really a major wordwide problem.

a simple solution would be to sell a bottle of your repelent which would be used to fill the cartridge , and not throw away the cartrige every time..!

It really works!!!

I used this at a BBQ out by my pool, at sunset in south Florida, during the summer (july) and the mosquitos are a nightmare... I didnt turn it on right away and everyone was complaining how they were getting bitten up. So then I turned on the Thermacell - Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent, Gen 2.0 - Black and within 20 mins, everyone that was there was commenting on how well it worked and that they werent getting bit anymore... I probably sold 10 of them that night cause everyone was taking pics so they could go order one. It legit works amazing!!!
