Very poor battery

Bought this Radius unit last year, used one cartridge, put it away charged for the winter and pulled it out and it's dead. The instructions say you have to charge it every 3 months while in storage....REALLY....who would remember this in the middle of the winter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great until it broke

I bought the Radius 2.0 last May (2020). Used it a few times and it worked great. Just bought some refills but when I took out the radius this year (May 2021) it is dead. Looks like it is the battery. It wont charge, the light wont turn on, the whole thing is useless. Seems like this is a recurring issue with anyone who stopped using it over the winter. I emailed customer service and will wait to hear what to do next, but I was hoping to use it this weekend. I hope Thermacell stands by their products and fixes this issue because it did work last year and i wish i could recommend it to others.

Lasted one summer, Dead the next

I bought this at the end of last summer (August) and pulled it out to charge now that mosquitos are back, I was so disappointed to find that it had died in storage and won't turn on. Great device which works well, but wish the battery lasted longer when out of use seasonally. Would consider buying again if there is a way to prevent this from recurring.

Worked 2 times!

I used it 2 times last summer, put it in a closet for winter. I tried to use it this spring and it was impossible to start the device. Very disappointed. This is very expensive for the quality. I guess I can even not ask for a refund.

Great Product

I have used 2 of these for 2 years on the coast in Texas on our patio. Works great. During period of high winds some nasty gritters get in, but 99% of the time we are free of the pesky critter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a Thermacell Radius last year and turned it on this year and nothing even after a 5 hour recharge Nothing. Very dissatisfied!!!!

Unable to recharge

I have only used this about 5 times last summer and it stopped working because the battery is out and doesn’t recharge anymore when I plug it. The capsules you buy seperatly are pricy and now I can’t use them because the base product doesn’t work. Very disappointed.

This is the best mosquito repeller ever.

I own a Radius zone a patio shield and portable repeller. I hate mosquitos but they love me. This works. Period. My portable repeller lives in my garden basket. If I’m in the garden it’s within inches of me at all times. Last week my Husband missed my garden basket as he was cleaning up. I was devastated. Water poured out of the repeller. I thought for sure it was toast. Nope! Let it dry throughly. Put I a new repeller square. Put in a new butane cartridge. Clicked the starter as fast as I could.....and there was a glow! Awesome product Guys. Be proud of yourselves.
