Device is alright, but cant find refills.

I consumed the refill that came with the device and now when Iam looking to purchase a refill , and its sold out from online/instore retailers. So the device is useless or I have to pay multiple the price for refills in the black market. I would appreciate thermcell to make the refills available or refund my device.

For the first month, it worked very well. Now, after charging it, and not being able to use it due to rain for 4 days, the charge was gone and it was locked during that time. That type of limited charge has happened twice. It is a disappointment at this point. It does not let you use it while it is being charged, so that isn't an option either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have used the product a couple of times so far, and it does seem to keep away the mosquitoes as advertised. As the instructions say, it does not work immediately, but the mosquitoes seem to go away after about 10 minutes. Also it seems the device works for roughly 10 minutes after turning it off. I haven't been able to fully gauge the range, but it seems to be at least 10 feet.

Ok,, not as good as the hand held units? We have tons of your regular unit’s and work great! The radius,? Especially for the cost! ??

Works when it works....

Works when it works Failed after one summer ( 2 weeks out of waranty, Canadian Tire wont help) the battery wont take a charge. It does work well when it works but longevity is highly questionable. In reading other reviews this doesnt seem to be an isolated incident. Give it a pass, get something else.

Availability of Refills Radius Thermocell

Bought the radius about 2 weekends ago, worked great. Problem is we can’t source the refills. This device is useless w/o sufficient availability of refills. For that reason, Most likely returning the unit.

Battery problem after one season

Bought this last year for the reason that it is rechargeable instead of constantly buying the butane cartridges. Worked great, only for one season. Was stored inside the house. When I took it out to use again this year, the battery doesn't charge and is dead. Very disappointed.

Sorry to hear that your Radius device is not charging. Please try the following tips and tricks below. if you are continuing to have issues, contact Thermacell directly and we can help you out.
*Please ensure the top of the repeller is properly nested or secured on the repeller. The product will not activate properly if the two pieces are not secure.
*Giving the device a few minutes plugged in (and even trying another cable and making sure it is fully inserted).
*Please allow Radius to charge for at least 5 to 10 minutes before trying to operate it while plugged in. Please note that it will take up to 5 hours for Radius to charge. If your Radius is still not charging or powering up properly, please ensure the USB cable is fully inserted. If needed, please try another USB cord.
