Will not charge after only a few uses.

We bought the Themacell Radius at the end of the summer last year. We stored it as per the instructions and after taking it out for the first time today, there is no sign of life in the unit. It will not charge nor turn on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really like my new Thermocell for my balcony overlooking the lake I live on. Mosquitoes thrive here. It is the perfect space for it. Can enjoy the sunset and wine without smelly bug repellent now. :) Only thing...it must be charged and put in place for a few before it really kicks in. And haven't seen the cost for replacement cartridges yet.

I've been surprised at how effective this is. We live in Central Texas and are accustomed to getting chased out of the backyard by mosquitoes as soon as it gets cool enough in the evening to stand being outside. This device really does a remarkably good job of keeping mosquitoes at bay, and it doesn't create a bothersome odor. It does need a few minutes to warm up before it's effective, so we typically bring it outside, come back in for a few minutes for it, and then spend time outside. It's great!

I was hoping this device would put an end to my mosquito issues, and wanting to get away from spray-on insect repellent, but the Radius Zone Repellent is only about 50% effective here in southern Arizona, where the mosquito population is not robust. Three stars only.

I had the older model thermacell last the one with the butane I did ha e any mosquitoes it was fantastic. This one was a lot more money and dose not get the job done. I feel it was a waste of money.i am going back to last year.

Works better than expected against Asian Tiger mosquitoes. It keeps them off our patio and even works with a gentle breeze. The only downside is a short battery life, so you must recharge it regularly.
