The 40 hour refill is great! However, this product does not have much of an impact on Tiger Mosquitoes!

I thought I loved this device. I purchased it even after reading some negative reviews. When working it repels well, however, after not many uses the unit will not turn on after charging. I only purchased my second repellent cartridge and just began using it when the device would no longer work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the color and the small size. Easy to recharge in an outlet. Easy to operate. Nice that it has a built in timer you can set (2 hours) in case you forget to turn it off.
Eliminates MOST mosquitoes, some still linger, but much less than before - like 2 or 3 stragglers remain. It's seems to essentially be an electric diffuser and uses the repellent cartridges. Some smoke (odorless, white in color, dissipates) goes in the air - not sure how it affects food from a chemical standpoint - it would be god to know more about that.
