The device only lasted one summer season. I’ve had to buy new devices each year which is costly so while they work well regarding mosquitoes, the device quality and durability is disappointing.

Battery does not last 6 hours and take a very long time to charge. Need to buy 2, if you are planning to be outside for long periods of time. I would recommend Thermacell, just not this one.

It doesn't charge anymore
I bought this last year and it lasted only one summer. It wouldn't charge or turn on. This is not a cheap product to last only one year.

I waited to review this products until after I have been able to use it a number of times in different situations, time periods, time of day and during different activities. Thermocells are amazing. I use to hate cooking/eating outside later in the evening during the summer due to the amount of biting bugs that would invade our backyard while we ate. I bought two units and have not had one complaint about mosquitoes or gnats from my family. Amazing product.

Device is alright, but cant find refills.

I consumed the refill that came with the device and now when Iam looking to purchase a refill , and its sold out from online/instore retailers. So the device is useless or I have to pay multiple the price for refills in the black market.
I would appreciate thermcell to make the refills available or refund my device.
