Found that the bugs don’t like it but it can be slow to start so we’ve been setting it out 15 minutes before we go out to make sure it’s heated up and working. Also, after turning off and the unit cools down, we believe putting the cap back on the wick helps it start quicker especially if you’re not going to use it for a few days.

Device is too expensive, refills are too expensive, there is still an amount at the bottom of the cartridge that is unusable and it only works so so at keeping mosquitoes away. Other flying insects like gnats, etc. are not affected by it at all. Definitely not worth what I paid and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

I bought this 2 weeks ago but did not use it until yesterday, a very buggy afternoon in Central Ontario Canada. There must have been 20 mosquitos flying around me when I opened up the box followed the easy to read instructions and fired it up. As soon as it heated up, it was evident that the mosquitoes were gone! There was the odd fly-by but not a single landing on my wife or I! Just came in from dinner on the deck and didnt even think about mosquitoes all through dinner. This is one of the BEST purchases I ever made! Thank you

Will not charge after only a few uses.

We bought the Themacell Radius at the end of the summer last year. We stored it as per the instructions and after taking it out for the first time today, there is no sign of life in the unit. It will not charge nor turn on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really like my new Thermocell for my balcony overlooking the lake I live on. Mosquitoes thrive here. It is the perfect space for it. Can enjoy the sunset and wine without smelly bug repellent now. :) Only thing...it must be charged and put in place for a few before it really kicks in. And haven't seen the cost for replacement cartridges yet.
