Never buy LG again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is 4 months old and was not installed and used until the third month of ownership. Although this is a quiet unit that does a very good job in its location there has been one disappointing factor. The unit will not turn off by pushing the power button or the remote. In order to turn it off I have had to pull the plug out of the electrical socket. This is very annoying since the socket is behind a piece of furniture.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to be Doing the Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in July and used it into August. That is pretty much what we call summer in central Pennsylvania. Cooled the first floor of our two story home with no effort. No problems at this time. Fairly easy to install.
