I am very very happy with my radiant heater! I live alone with my dog in a small 1 bedroom and one of these is all I needed! Not sure on the electricity usage just yet, but I KNOW it will be better than the old 70’s baseboard electric heaters that ran my electricity bill up 100% and I only ran in one room for one month and it wasn’t even cold yet and I never turned it above 65 degrees!!! The only thing I was disappointed in was the shipping. I ordered online on the 3rd of January and did not find out until the 9th of January that the shipping warehouse was closed from Dec 29 - Jan 9th!!! So it was 10 days before it was received. The website did NOT alert to that when I placed my order. It only said 5-7 day FREE shipping. There is a mention somewhere on the site I found AFTER I was told it was closed for that time. But nonetheless, a GREAT HEATER! You definitely need to run a fan when it’s off-gasing the VERY first time it’s used out of the box, about 3-4 hours of the strong oil smell. I ran a fan and an exhaust fan and went into my bedroom while it off gased. It’s pretty strong. Also takes about 12 or more hours for the initial heat up. I started at maximum energy and on high for first 12 hours and then on medium for about 12 more and since have it at minimum energy and lowest setting heat and it’s very warm in my entire apartment. I have it set in the “middle” of the entire apartment and it’s great! I leave it on 24/7. Feels much more safe than the 70’s baseboard heaters!!! The only thing I wish de’Longhi would do is, put another handle on the opposite side so to avoid tipping when moving from a rug to hardwood. IT GETS VERY HOT to touch! Overall, AWESOME PRODUCT!
