This is a surprisingly compact and light printer. Folds up nicely when not in use. Super easy set up. Wireless connectivity to phone/laptop. Just one cord is used to plug it into the wall. Love the instant ink program which works well for an occasional printer like me.

The printer does what it's supposed to do. The setup was very confusing and took a while to figure out if you're trying to set up using a PC (it doesn't come with the USB cable you need for set up). Setting it up using my mobile phone was somewhat easier. The printer comes with very little documentation about setup. Aside from setup, my gripe is the quality of the scanner. It often captures black edges around the page that you have to crop out and you often have to correct the alignment of the page. However, it's fairly easy to correct for those issues in the app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer was really easy to connect to my computer. I have not used the wifi option yet. The computer recognized it immediately. I like that the default print option is set at the lowest resolution, saving me on printer ink when I don't nee high resolution. It prints faster than my previous deskjet printer, despite what I read in some reviews. The only thing I would have liked is for a full scanning bed like my previous printer. You have to get used to feeding what you want scanned through the top bar - hence the four stars. However, it also scans much faster than my previous printer. Print and scanner options are also easy to select. All in all, I really like this printer. Takes up much less desk space, which was one of the reasons I purchased it.
