Dell products are always dependable. Thus far, this one is no exception and it's so much more convenient that not having one. That said, I would have paid more for an option with more USB ports (maybe there was one and I missed it), and I really miss the on/off button that used to be available in the old snap in docks. Nevertheless, still a great accessory.

Reliable Docking Station

The docking station works and functions great with all the devices connected to it. No lag time. One connection to the laptop that powers up through the USB C connection. The only problem we experienced is that connecting to our local LAN takes a second separate IP Address for the docking station. Dell Support is working with us and found a workaround using the passthrough capability, but the solution still needs an IP Address for the Docking Station.

Lacking in USB ports on the front.

I need more usb ports in the front of the dock. The usb's in the back of the port do not work as I would like. They do not charge any of my devices. I have to use a usb port to supplement this. Otherwise, it works as intended.
