So loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the refrigerator about a month ago. It’s cold, it works, but it is SOOO LOUD. I’ve never had a refrigerator that’s so loud. Sounds like the oven is on, allll day. No wonder it was on sale. I’d have spent more to get a quiet one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator because it was on sale. It had a nice finish and lots of room. However, my family and I don't like the way the water dispenser is designed. Unfortunately, when you use larger tumblers (which is what we use for ice water every day) it hits the water dispenser first spraying water all over the place. We are also disappointed in the ice maker and the refrigerator as they are very loud when running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not my favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased all new Whirlpool appliances and so far they have all performed fine. Since this review is for the refrigerator I’ll limit my comments to just that appliance which is probably my least liked of all the appliances. (I can’t speak to the gas range as I have yet to have it connected to propane.) The refrigerator has a couple of shortcomings which should be addressed by the manufacturer. Most annoying is the sound level when the compressor comes on. I don’t think I’ve heard a refrigerator that makes as much noise. I don’t know if this is caused by fasteners not being properly installed, a lack of insulation or a faulty compressor. Or perhaps that’s just the way Whirlpool makes them. Secondly, the refrigerator door swings so far when opened that it will bang into a nearby wall if not held back. It would be nice to have some kind of adjuster on the doors to control how far they open. Lastly, while it has deep drawers it would be nice to also have a couple of shallow drawers.
