I finally spent a little more and invested in an iphone and I wanted to protect it. The Pop Defender Case provides protection for my new phone and I no longer an afraid to drop it. I am much more comfortable using my phone with the Pop Defender case.
I bought this case a little while ago, and as much as I wanted to like it, using it stressed me out enough that I had to remove it and go caseless because the trade off wasn’t worth it. For reference, I had a glass screen protector underneath the case itself—and maybe that was too much of a barrier between the phone and the outside world, but in any event a good 50% of touches went unregistered. The tipping point was realizing that if anything popped up in front of the Maps app while driving, I couldn’t safely do anything about it without pulling over. I’m confident that the phone was protected and if I ever go hiking then maybe I’ll find the case again, but in day to day life I just can’t use it.

Hi there!
We're sorry to hear about any confusion with your recent purchase! Keep in mind, we do not recommend using an additional screen protector alongside a Defender Series case that already has a screen protector built in. Removing that additional protection should improve the touch functionality of your device. If you run into any issues with your case, please don't hesitate to give us a ring at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you taken care of.
I purchased this iPhone SE (2nd gen) Phone case for a new phone. I had a iPhone 6 case while that fit the newer Phone it just didn’t fit as good as the Otter box defender case a great plus was the pop socket
No matter how great Apple makes their iPhone, every family has a person who finds unpredictable ways of "testing" their phone. For that person, Otterbox has been the go-to accessory to keep those phones alive and kicking. The pop in this case was new to this user and she loves it!
I've been buying cellphones since their inception as technology and always bought Otterbox cases for them when they were available (phones were pretty valuable pieces of equipment at one point!) Otterbox always did the job of protecting my phone as promised, making it less slippery and keeping it from damage from all-too-frequent drops, and plenty of use in the rain. This one seems to be just as effective, and the pop-socket that telescopes inward when not in use is excellent. I do a lot of video on the fly while steering a launch on the water, and this gives me a much better grip. One star comes off for the inability to use TouchID with it. I've reset it 10 times with new print sampling, and in each case it doesn't work 3/4 of the time - making it slower than just entering a password (which is what I end up doing). Not sure this is Otterbox's fault, but it's a fact of my experience.

I received this case today and was not a fan. I have been a long time Otterbox user and typically purchase the Commuter series. I should’ve stuck with it but wanted to step up to the defender series for added protection. It comes with a cheap plastic screen protector which ruins the quality of the screen and is not very user friendly. Additionally, it does not securely fit my iPhone SE 2nd gen and it moves a little when I move the phone. I regret trying the new series and hope that I can swap it out for the Commuter series.

We're sorry to hear you've had a disappointing experience with your recent switch to the Otter + Pop Defender Series Case. You mentioned the Commuter Series, but if you'd like to stick with the PopSockets component, our Otter + Pop Symmetry Series would be more streamlined than the Defender Series yet still provide that. It also wouldn't have the integrated screen protector that you weren't a fan of. You can take a closer look by following the link below, and we're also including another to help you set up a return of the item in hand.
