My iPhone SE happily went into it’s new OtterBox Defender case after I had a nervous week of no case. I chose a colored case for the first time (the teal) instead of black, and as much as I love the outer bumper color, the fact that the inner plastic is a close match, but not the same color is bothering me, I understand they are made of different materials, but if you can not get a match, you probably should not offer it. I also opted for my first Pop Socket. I did not realize what a difference it would make in comfortably holding the phone. It was a great addition to my case in a seamless way. The coordinating cover for the socket makes me smile.
My only concern from by previous Defender case is still a concern, the light sheet of clear plastic over the home button deteriorated in my previous case, making it a moisture point of entry, and I am concerned about the same thing with this Defender.
As in the past, I am feeling quite confident that my phone, is now safe and secure, prepared to meet the challenges of daily life!

I originally purchased the Otter + Pop Symmetry Series case, which had a glass-like protector over my screen and a popgrip on the back. It kept sliding off the armrest of my chair every time I set it down. I ordered the APPLE OTTER + POP DEFENDER I8/7/SE 2ND GEN FALL BLOSSOM — which is like the regular Defender series and no more phone on the floor! I am not really a fan of the popgrip, but I do love the Defender case!
