Fantastic oven and stove top!

I've had this one month and couldn't be happier. The gas burners are very powerful and stove top easy to clean. Oven works great. Once we got the WiFi synced to our smart phone it was a piece of cake and so easy to use! Highly recommend this GE Cafe.

We bought this range on the strength of the brand. It has exceeded our expectations, a lot. It is a beautiful appliance. We can use it with our mobile phones and even get alerts for preheating and timer status.

Mystery clicking noise

I had my range delivered a few weeks ago and went on vacation but since I got back it’s driving me nuts when it’s on 275* or lower it keeps making this clicking noise every few minutes. Wish they could fix this issue...

Problems from day one

New and on day one, center gas control knob on LH side will not always turn. Other times you can turn on but feels very rough and very difficult to turn off. Also some improperly mounted and bent / bulging panels on the back, stripped screws and not fully fastened screws. It appears that all the gas control knobs / valves are offset to the right of the holes in the face panel (Not centered). One can also see this because all the "off" markers in the knobs do not line up with the face panel. All the knobs are mounted to the right and when fully turned clockwise to off are all cocked clockwise - they go past the 12 o'clock point and continue towards the 1 o'clock direction. Extremely poor quality control. If you want a new range you cannot use from day one, this is for you. And BTW, GE Appliances is now owned by a Chinese company and they are allowed to use the GE name until 2056 according to Wikipedia. GE appliances owned by a Chinese company, made in Mexico and customer service from India.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Terrific Range

Great features, love the griddle, the six burner feature is amazing with edge to edge cooking and offers close to the same cooking experience as a 36" range.

Different size burners
