HP Knight Bus

I loved this set, it was super fun! I loved using the purple bricks, since purple is my favorite color! I found this set to be a little challenging, not too bad but since this is a bus, and a bus that has a side that opens and closes and removable top piece!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun build

I played with Lego's as a kid (1960's), and as a parent with my kids. I have been diagnosed with Parkinsons and have at hand tremor which at times severely effects my ability to do the simplest of tasks using my hands. My wife thought building models with Lego might help me maintain my fine motor skills. I was somewhat apprehensive about trying this because of my hand tremors. Well .... this was GREAT! I thoroughly enjoyed assembling the model. I love the detail and the creativity of the build. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. When the tremors prevented me from assembling, I just took break. Thank you for allowing me to rediscover my (childhood) love for model building, and allowing me to (in a way) beat Parkinsons. It has small parts so be sure to follow age recommendations if you buy this for a kid or small kids will be around this.

The Knight Bus goes together very quickly, but it is still a fun build. As a mega fan of Harry Potter, I was impressed by the details on the bus. It is sized well for the mini figures.

I recently bought this set for myself and overall I’d say it’s very detailed and well worth the price!
The only thing I miss from the older set was the inclusion of Hedwig & “The Grim”, but other than that it’s extremely awesome!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of detail at a reasonable price

This bus was such a fun build! I loved how you could open the door to see detail inside, like the bed moving or the hanging lights. While not incredibly technical, it was still challenging and fun to do in an evening!

My husband is a lego enthusiast and I bought this to have something to work on while he built his giant batmobile. It was super cute and fun, I love the opening door and the easily removable roof, and all the little details. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and this was obviously made with love.

This is a great set but...

Positives- Lots of detail in the set, including "Knight Bus" stickers and a copy of the Daily Prophet featureing Sirius Black. The minifigs themselves look AMAZING, like they walked out of the movie. LEGo added a moving bed&chandiler to add to the Knight Bus feel.
Negatives- There's only ONE seat for some reason, and you cant even fit a minifig into the bed. Stan Shunpike is to tall to stand at the entrance to the Knight Bus, despite him standing there in the books and movies.
Overall, its a pretty good set. However, if you're a LEGO perfectionist, prepare to be disappointed.

I'm hooked

My wife got this for me for Christmas. Wasn't sure if I would take to it due to a disability. Well, I got hooked. Had a great time putting this build together, couldn't stop once I started. Despite the disability I could do it! I ready to do more ... let me at it!
