Unfortunately, I cannot rate the product on how it works. I did not try to operate it. I found the basket a little too difficult to remove because of arthritis in my right hand. I plan on returning it to Best Buy this week to look for a model with easier to open glass doors. I did like the on-line reviews about the brand and that is why I purchased it at the excellent sale price. The appearance is nice and dials worked smoothly. Hopefully, I will find another more suited to the weakness in my hands when I take this in. I do like to deal with Best Buy. I have bought many products there over the years, including washer/dryer, five computers, camera accessories, etc. The staff is great - helpful and not pushy!

Works OK but non-digital controls are imprecise

This is certainly a good deal, especially at the 'sale price'. The unit is physically quite large relative to the capacity of the cooking container, and the convection fan is really loud. This is my first experience with a 'non-digital' control air fryer. The controls are imprecise, and the timer is also finicky. Nevertheless, it's a good deal and cooks fine, especially at the sale price.

I love the teflon bottom dish it is absolutely fabulous and am a huge fan of the dials as it makes it simple for my children to use.

TIMER KNOB BROKE

I love this air fryer and had this air fryer since a year ago..
However you have to be cautions on the knob for the timer because it welted after a year and now I am using a knife to turn the timer off.....
as well the screws inbetween the basket, they get loose easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A good buy!

This is our 2nd Insignia air fryer. We have one for our winter home now. We are very pleased with how it performs. The basket is adequate size and holds enough food for us. Chicken, pork, hamburgers and sausages are examples of foods that are cook very well in my air fryer. It does take a little practice to get used to it but the results are worth it. A digital version may be a little better but the analogue unit works quite well.
