The camera was reluctant to charge when I first set up the cable because the temperature was below freezing. Once the sun came out it worked as expected. The camera battery was the weak link...not the cable. Although I was advised by the Wasserstein rep online it would take a month beyond the expected week to deliver because of none in stock, they managed to track one down and get it to me in about a week! Thanks Wasserstein.

This weather proof charger is very convenient for us to have because we placed the cameras 8 - 9 feet high.. So we need a ladder to gain access to the cameras. My sister has the first generation Arlo and recommended getting a the weatherproof charger so I did a search and found the magnetic charger here. Our Front Camera is under the garage roof and we put the wiring through a small opening above the garage door frame leading it to an outlet in our garage. Highly recommended. Quick delivery too.
