Great for cooking food but the timer never works

Great for cooking food but the timer never works. I would give it five stars if it didn’t always stay on preheat. And since it’s always saying preheating, the timer is useless. It never counts down. So I had to set my own timer while it’s cooking. But it does cook, and the rotisserie function is nice.

It's a great counter top addition but...

This is my first experience "air frying" so depending upon your expectations of what "fried" should be, this will be a big factor into how you rate this product. It will fit under your standard kitchen cabinets with ease. It's realitively easy to use, but here's where it gets tricky. If you simply want to "fry" something there is no straight forward direction on how to do so. My experiment involved Turkey Wings and Thighs. Bottom line - This isn't what I would describe as "fried". Yes, it was tasty. In fact it was delicious, but it was what I consider to be "roasted", not fried. I actually fry turkey for the holidays so I am familiar with the texture of the final product, and this result wasn't it. I was pleased with the speed the unit heated up and cooked. A quick meal for 2 can be achieved as the picture on the box suggest; just don't get too ambitious like I did. On the whole this is a useful addition to your counter - especially when you don't want to fire up the big oven. For me, this is a great little convection oven with a whole lot of potential and I will use it often.

The ultra snack machine

I bought this item last year and it’s been good to me. Lately it’s been alerting me that the door is open although it’s closed, I don’t know why. I think that after so long it gets kind of worn out. I’m planning to buy a newer air fryer with a glass door… I’m in assumption that after so many uses, the plastic may begin to melt therefore causing the door sensor to not be as affective. I use my air fryer just about everyday, especially on fried chicken days.. I enjoy not using oil and the less mess to clean. I wish there was a better way to clean them such as, pour water and letting it boil the residue out. I would recommend this specific item to children, teenagers and college kids. An all time cook wouldn’t be able to use this item all the time. And the pricing is equivalent to the performance…

Especially if you prefer fried foods just without all the messy oil. These things make life so much easier on you and they cook fast too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been an amazing addition to my kitchen! I make chicken strips in it as my first recipe and they came out crispy and delicious! It only took 11 minutes including preheating time. It holds a lot since it is bigger than most so it does take up a lot of counter space! I think it’s worth it though, it also preheats incredibly fast. i can’t wait to make homemade French fires next time!

From chicken nuggets to a whole chicken, this thing can cook it. It's pretty easy to clean as well. It's definitely a healthier way to cook. Don't have any complaints!
