was bought as a gift for my 90-year-old mother and it's easy to use she's self-sufficient anyway but this helps her . I don't have to do anything for her prep wise...she loves it

I have owned the model 36001 for about 5 years now and have never had a problem with it. Both the money saved using it as well as the texture of the food cooked with it is out right addicting. I wore out the basket and just replaced it with a new one and still saved money. Folks this thing is well worth the money.

My husband and I bought this to replace our extremely messy deep fryer. What a pleasure to use! Easy to clean. Who would think you could actually bake in a fryer? Or prepare all of the foods you wondered about trying - everything thing can be cooked and yummy too!

Love the 6 Qt Brio

I was up late one night watching tv and ran across the program selling these units. I have been wanting to purchase an air fryer for some time now and wasn't really sure which one to get. I was impressed with the Nuwave Brio 6Qt. I received it just a few days ago and have already used it on breaded shrimp, steaks, pork loin, and asparagus. It did a wonderful job cooking the food perfectly, and I love the temperature probe feature. The cleanup is easy thanks to the non stick coating. I really hope it lasts and doesn't wear off.

Healthy frying alternative!

I received the 6 QT Air Fryer as a birthday gift and I have fallen in love with it! We are even talking about upgrading to get a larger air fryer! I have been trying "fast food" items like fries and bagel bites and lots of other convenient foods, but really love the ease in making pork chops, Macaroni & Cheese and so many other yummy HEALTHY meals!
Cons -- times and temps vary so much that it is often challenging to make a meal such as shrimp and fries at the same time. I purchased the rack to help with being able to cook "two layers" of food at the same time and have not been happy with the results of the food cooked on the bottom of the rack. I am guessing that the air must come from the top of the fryer and then the air is not not completely cooking the food on the bottom. I have only found the rack useful for putting the pan on to cook mac & cheese (recipe in the book) which was the best mac & cheese EVER!
--Not always a time saver, especially when making for a larger group, and need to make multiple quantities, because end up having to keep warm in the oven, when then makes things soggy or not as good as fresh out of the fryer.
--Probe has no directions for use... unless I missed something somewhere in the owner manual.

Pro - Would definitely be the healthy alternative to greasy frying! Fries and tater tots are the absolute best in here!

Best Thing Yet

I received my brio about a week ago, and I have been cooking something everyday. Steaks, baked potatoes, asparagus, whole chicken. The only problem I have and it has me a little nervous is the grill pan. It sits EXTREMELY high in the basket. I'm talking just below the brim of the basket. From videos I have seen on YouTube and photos, it should be sitting in the basket. I have tried a couple of time to chat with someone, but I can not get someone to help me. I love this air fryer, but I am terrified to use this grill pan because Im terrified either the food is going to burn sitting so high up, or it is going to flip over into the basket when I would try to open. need help quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting an air fryer for a while now but they are kind of overwhelming and I thought for sure it would be tricky to figure out how to use one. But I was pleasantly surprised with this product! I've had so much fun figuring out new recipes to try in this air fryer. Lots of online ideas and the possibilities are endless. You could seriously use this every night for so many types of meals. It's really straightforward to figure out. Little trial and error involved but nothing major. I love the probe attachment especially for meat so I can be sure its cooked thoroughly. The size of this one (6qt) is a nice size for a small family. It's my husband and I and our 2 year old so we dont cook a huge meal but this size is great for us. The actual size of this air fryer is kind of bulky but theres really no way around that. I will use this more often than my oven because it's more convenient and seems to cook faster. Not as much time spent heating up the whole oven. Lots of program options built in for quick and easy things like french fries or baked potatoes. I like that this air fryer is so easy to disassemble and throw everything In the dishwasher. I love an easy cleanup and this is it! Everything has cooked nicely so far. Evenly cooked. You usually do need to flip, shake, or check everything halfway through. I love cooking fries, potatoes, shrimp, chicken, tenderloin, pork chops and things of that nature in here. The meat locks in the juicy goodness and doesnt dry out. Also gives that kind of crisp outer layer like you've grilled something. I think every kitchen could use one of these. Once you get one, you'll find all kinds of recipes you want to use with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NuWave 6 Qt Brio Air Fryer is of excellent quality based on the amazing capacity it has to evenly distribute heat. I love how easy it is to setup and the easy to follow instructions that come along with the product. I cooked meat and within 22 minutes, the meat came out tender and well done. Later, I cooked fries for my kiddos and they came out crispy and delicious. I like how the air Fryer prevents food from coming out soggy. I also loved the clear touch screen display as it allows for excellent clear modes to be visible. Overall, I was extremely awed at this product for its efficiency, capability, and easy to clean features.
