[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NuWave 14 qt Brio is awesome!! I made homemade potato wedges for dinner last night and they were so good! They only took about 18 minutes and were really crispy! It’s nice to have the deep fryer taste without all of the grease! I can’t wait to try the recipes that came with it they all look so good!

4.5-Quart NuWave Brio Digital Air Fryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have high cholesterol and prepare special meals by reducing the use of saturated fats from cooking oil. I used the NuWave Brio Air Fryer to prepare chicken and turkey that required the use of little or no cooking oil. This NuWave Brio Air Fryer performed admirably and I was able to achieve tasty and healthy foods by using little or no cooking oil.
This Air Fryer provides multiple versatility as a cooking device. It can bake, fry, roast, broil, toast and grill with minimal efforts. It comes straight out of the box weighing about five pounds and no assembly required. The provided owner’s manual is very descriptive and includes popular recipes. To avoid wire clutter, the Air Fryer has a plug that can retract after use by pushing the plug into the device.
The cooking chamber is a pull-out grill basket that you place food to be cooked. I preheated the Fryer for 5 minutes and then cooked five chicken drumsticks by evenly placing them in the basket and then pushing the drawing back into the device. At about 15 minutes, I rotated the chicken drumsticks to allow for even cooking. Upon completion, I opened the cooking chamber drawer and removed the basket and emptied the drumsticks onto a serving plate. The drumsticks were fully cooked with no oils used and had a crunchy texture…very delicious! There is no guessing whether the product is fully cooked as you can use the imbedded probe to confirm internal temperature. The total cook time was 30 minutes.
After your cooking is complete, you open the cooking drawer, remove the cooking basket and the grease is captured underneath. This makes the cleaning up process easy and efficient.
The Brio NuWave Air Fryer is a well designed and functional product and earns a 5-STAR Rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absoulty love this thing. I like that I have a meat probe to make sure my meats done to perfection. It has a sound when you open and close the door. the bright blue is perfect for me to see. I can set a time for it to start which is good. I can keep food warm until everything is all ready to serve. I love the rotisserie style that will definitely come in handy for the holidays. It comes with a recipe booklet for different types. I like that it has a light so I can check on my food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been wanting an air fryer for a long time as we hated the oil mess of our regular fryer. It always took forever to clean. We received the Nuwave and it's amazing. Honestly one of the best things about it is that you dont have to use oil. We made tater tots that were frozen and they turned out crispy and delicious. It was a lot less time than the oven too! It even comes with a probe so that if you are cooking meat, you can get an internal temp. There is a recipe book that gives all sorts of ideas for delicious things to make. I cant wait to try them all. I absolutely recommend this fryer as it's easy to use, a healthier option, and it has minimal cleanup.

It Cooks food in half the time it would if you cooked it on the stove top. It is perfect for cooking straight out of the freezer. The food is cooked completely and is juicy. You can cook entire meals in it. You can sit it right on your counter and it is easy to clean.

A Little Uneven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of an air “fryer”. A lot of people claim it’s a healthier way to “fry” without the use of oil. So when I got the fryer I was excited to try it. It does cook the food that you put in it. But you can’t go by typical frying times for foods and you can’t go by oven times either. The biggest difficulty is finding out the temp and time you should be cooking foods at, especially ones not listed in the included guide.
Aside from the cook temp and time difficulty, this particular “fryer” didn’t cook very evenly. Items closer to the top of the device were much more crisp and toasted than items in the middle of the device.
I would recommend the fryer even though it’s more like a convection oven in my opinion. It did it’s job and the foods were cooked as expected. I don’t think it will replace my deep fryer, but maybe the toaster oven!
