If you are a chef or if you cook a lot then this is your stove. It came time for me to buy a new stove and I looked at what was out on the market and everything had a digital keypad or a camera inside the oven or some other Wi-Fi connectivity device. I got very frustrated until I saw the specs on this stove. It has actual knobs that you turn. It doesn’t have automatic oven cleaning, but that’s OK because I stopped broiling greasy fish inside the oven and found that cooking it on a griddle on top of the stove is even better. The only thing I use the oven floor is baking muffins, or cake or bread. What I really like about the stove top is that each burner goes from high to very low as opposed to most new ovens that only give you one high burner Two mediums and one low. I don’t understand the point of that. I love the look of it. I used to work in a restaurant and this is what we used. No it doesn’t have do dads and gadgets, but it cooks incredibly well and it even has a crumb tray for things that fall down inside the burners. I had a glass top stove, and when things would spill over, it got very messy and wood clog the little holes where the gas flame would come out. This is very old school and so am I.
