Great choice for a Smart Transformer

Just like other Ring products, this one is a great DIY install. If you're already on the Ring Ecosystem, this is a no-brainer for your outdoor lighting needs.

Play and play and go

I bought a Transformer to replace a 15yo analog timer box for our 12V front yard standup lights and the pillar down-lights on our fence. The timer box had one of those dials with a little switch for every hour, and, ugh! Also, it was outside! I clipped the wires, junked the old box, extended the wires into the house, plugged them into the Transformer, and get it attached to our wifi. Done! With a minimum of fussing it is now integrated into my existing Ring system and working great. The only thing I've had to mess with is extending the number of hours the lights are on after dusk because here in Seattle in winter it gets dark SUPER early. That's it! Easy!

Smart & Sturdy

I've owned the Ring Smart Lighting Transformer for a while now, and it's been a great addition to my outdoor lighting. It's very sturdy-feeling and has held up to the weather pretty well. I like that it conserves energy by only lighting the lights when they're needed, and it is compatible with my other Ring devices. Putting it in was easier than I thought it'd be, and the app made it a breeze. I also appreciate that I can change the brightness based on the mood or the hour of the night. For the most part, it's made my lighting installation much smarter and more convenient. Highly recommended

Very compatible with my house
It is super easy to install , only take me 10 mins

The ring smart lightening transformer does wonders. If you do not own one you should get one as soon as possible. The lightening is excellent and useful during the night.
