Very sturdy and nice mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer a week ago and we used it already 4 times to prepare some French baguette and a Mediterranean bread..and the results are amazing. There is just a little problem when mixing a large volume and more solid dough the head of the mixer starts de move up and down and very noisy too!(it does not lock very well!!!) I don't know if it's a problem or just a normal thing!! Otherwise I'm Very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Like Kitchen Aid Mixers of the Past :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 100 Year Limited Edition Queen of Hearts 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer for my birthday. Using it to make chocolate chip cookies, I noticed it doesn’t work like the one I had before.
I called Kitchen Aid and explained that the Kitchen Aid Mixer beater falls off when I lift the motor head to scrap the bowl, also that while ingredients are mixing the beater noisily bounces, up and down. The representative said that the beater is too low, he told me a dime test… you can watch a video on YouTube on how to do a “DIME TEST”, but that video is for calibrating the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and to adjust the beater from bowls clearance. I told the representative that the beater/bowl clearance was not the problem, either she didn’t understand what I was saying, or he thinks I’m new to Kitchen Aid, I must not know anything about Kitchen Aid Mixers.
I’ve owned Kitchen Aid Mixer for over 35 years, and in all the years, I’ve never had a beater fallen off. But then, my previous mixers were purchased before 2016. In 2016, Kitchen Aid decided to cut costs, saying, “SPRING REMOVED FOR EASE OF CLEANING, We no longer put springs and washers on the beater’s shaft.” My opinion, the results, Kitchen Aid is making Kitchen Aid Mixers products that are poor quality. If people can’t clean the spring, why not have videos instructing them how to clean? Instead, Kitchen Aid decides to remove the spring and washer, resulting in a poor performance mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never had a stand mixer before and have had surgery which has left my arms In a weakened state. This KitchenAid mixer is a pleasure to use! The ease of changing the beaters, the ease of turning the speeds and especially not having to hold a handmixer in my hands and struggle to keep things in place. I should I made this purchase a long time ago. Now I want some accessories :-) well worth the price!

I have always wanted a stand-up mixer and to learn that I can also have so many different attachments too is great! I can't wait! I do love the look and feel of it - simple, strong, no plastic gadgets or buttons to break - all very solid and classic!
