Love this shell!

Photo walks in poor weather conditions? Hang your camera on the capture clip and toss on the shell! Works perfectly to keep your camera protected, but easily accessible. It might not be too convenient for on-the-go shooting.. but as someone who does a lot of night time/long-exposure photography, it's quite easy to use while the camera is mounted on a tripod.

Great camera cover

The few of my photographer friends that have camera covers have covers that are bulky, some very bulky. I was about to purchase a cover that was suggested by another photographer when I received a Peak Design promo on the pd cover. It looked much better in design and more user friendly than what I was about to purchase. I purchase the large cover and it carries in my bag really well, is easy to put on the camera quickly and is user friendly in use.

This product is pretty good

I think the shell is ok. It is effective at doing its job, but it is very difficult to put on. There is either too much room or too little. Then when you out on a lens hood it slips down. I think a second run at designing this would certainly refine how it functions. The sizing is also a little confusing as well.

Could be a good product for smaller lenses

Unfortunately I will be returning this product. It simply does not fit my Tamron 150-600mm with the D7500 attached. Very tight, not easy to work with in the field and does not actually fit once past 400mm.
I think it's a fine product for smaller lenses or a smaller prime but does not work with my needs.

Can Be Better

I like this Camera Shell , however I know in the future it can and will be better. It is still a bit cumbersome and not the easiest thing to use. It is best suited for covering and walking with a camera attached to your person in some way. It is not ideal for shooting with it on. It takes some practice let's say. Overall I still love PD products.

Used chat and was suggested I get a small for my Nikon mirrorless. While technically you could get it on the camera and lens (24-70 f/4) but it was very tight. Due to timing I could not return it and get a medium replacement before my trip. Ended up gettinga medium elsewhere. Product works as described but the suggestion from PD did not fit as I would have expected. Perhaps they designed it to be that tight. Either way, still a great product and company. Will buy from them again.
