[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a porch light that I like to leave on at night but always forget to turn the thing off. I did not want put in a timer switch so often times the light would just remain on or remain off. This nifty bulb allows me to just leave the switch on and sundown light comes on sun up light turns off. Could not be happier with this bulb for the purpose I use it for.

Great bulb for outside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a solution to keep the lights outside my garage on, when I am on a trip. This bulb has solved the problem and it only turns on when it is dark. I also don't have to worry about excess electricity usage as it turns off during day time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew a lightbulb like this existed, but it’s really cool in practice! I love that it just automatically adjusts. It’s great for saving energy, which I easily waste by forgetting to turn off lights!

Wonderful for patio/porch lighting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this light for about a week now and it's been great for me. Instead of having motion sensing lights, you can plug it in into any socket and it'll turn on once it starts getting dark and turn of when it gets brighter. This really works for me because I work later shifts and it's light when I leave the house but dark when I return, and I always forget to turn the light on before I leave. Which is no worry now. The only worry I have is that it reccomends not being put into an enclosed sconce which is what I have, so I'm not sure how long it'll last. But once I find out, I'll either get another bulb or another bulb and a new sconce.

Dusk to dawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dusk to dawn lightbulb is great! I replaced my standard outside light with this bulb. Now we just leave that light on all the time but the dusk to dawn sensor only turns it on at dark. The light by our door is always on when we need it now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works just like it says. This led light bulb turns on at night and off during the day. With 800 lumens it is plenty bright enough for porch light. Estimated to last 13years so if used properly it is very effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replace our regular can spot with this bulb when we go out of town. It's close enough to the window to turn off during the day and switch on at night. So far it's worked perfectly for that purpose. No complaints.

Great light for the front porch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this light for the front porch because of the auto on and off feature. At first it didn’t seem to work (always stayed on) but after one full day of use it started working as described. I think the light had to go through a calibration period but it wasn’t something that was advertised in the instructions. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.
