love these lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] was anxious to try these decorative bulbs. while the filaments and clear bulb appeared golden out of the box, they seem to lose the golden effect when turned up. they have such a pretty shape and appearance I did not want to cover them with lampshades, but found that a clear rather than frosted glass has an unpleasant glare when not covered. for now I find they work best on a dimmer switch over my bathroom mirror fixture - turned up high they do provide sufficient but somewhat glary lighting, and on dim they provide a pleasant 'mood-lighting' faint golden glow. they seem to be less glary under a harp lampshade, but that covers their kewl appearance. hence my dilemma for the best use for these unusual light bulbs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for our handmade lamps!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These beautiful bulbs are perfect! My daughter's fiance is a talented welder and made this lamp (they are a set). I was so happy to find these. They go perfectly with the lamps!! They give just the right amount of warm, soothing light and look fantastic in the lamps! (This photo does not show the true color). They are dimmable but our switches are not. Great value too!!

We have pendant hanging lights in our kitchen that are transparent so its important to get a good looking light bulb, since it's not only the light that it gives off, but also the look of the filament. These bulbs fit the bill with their natural glow and vintage looking glowing filament. I'm really happy with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these bulbs to go in a light I recently installed in my dining room. The light has a vintage look to it, so these bulbs were a perfect fit. The bulbs themselves are very nice looking and add a nice touch to the light fixture. I like that the light they give off isn’t as bright and harsh as a lot of light bulbs. They work out great in my dining room. I haven’t had them installed for very long, but I’m sure they will last like all GE bulbs do. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a faux vintage light fixture and these bulbs are perfect. They look like an authentic vintage light and they give off a soft yellow glow. They are perfect for the fixture above our bar. The light is just perfect and not harsh at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several lamps that are open cage style and the edison bulbs fit perfectly with the look. So many bulbs of this style are so different that it's tough to find a good match. These were just a tad smaller than what I have in the lamps now but they are the exact size and lighting level. I am extremely pleased with the way they work, the brightness and they dim very well also.
