Can use software on computer to use the scanner option but cannot scan from the printer window function. Contacted online help chat and was told it’s one or the other not both. Unfortunate as it would be very useful to sometimes use the printer window to scan to an email.

I love this printer especially the double side printing feature that comes as defaults. Set-up was pretty easy but for the networking that took a little bit more time. Good for the price!
