Video card broken just over a year. Garbage PSU 500W unbelievable. Terrible motherboard had nothing can be changed. Small case make everything hard to install.

Looks nice, but poor quality

Looks nice, but poor quality.
T730 is esthetically pleasing to the eye. BUT, it's what's inside that ultimately matters. The T730 has a cheap Lenovo motherboard that makes it near impossible to upgrade hardware. The 2080 graphics card is a beast, but the 500w (with 130w liquid cooling) power supply is underpowered and doesn't meet Nvidia's minimum PSU requirement of 650w. Lenovo will tell you it's ample power, but it truly isn't, when combined with the i9 processor and overtime, this lack of power can cause multiple component failure. Instead of sending 2 x 8gb ram sticks, Lenovo will send a single 16gb stick, which bottlenecks; it should be dual channel. On top of all of this, Lenovo customer service is abysmal. Bottom line: I think the quality of this computer is poor. I also think Lenovo customer service and repair techs are an absolute nightmare to deal with. I would NOT recommend this build OR Lenovo to anyone.

Not what I expected from Lenovo

First of all there is no video card cable with this box, and if you have read the comments on line, most people have problem connecting this to their monitor, so far I have bought 3 cables with different connections yet I still have problems! Second, there is problem with sound on this computer, while playing video it disconnect the sound and freeze the computer for few seconds, the sound wont back unless I go to speaker icon change my speakers to anything else then back to Realtek to play again, uninstall the driver and install it again, good for few hours then back again. Thirdly, it is the random rebooting that haven't found any cause for it yet but I think it is either the slow ssd or video card. These are not my problems alone, a search on line shows lots of people have these problem with your machines since 2018. Very disappointed user!

10 min out of the box, you're online and gaming!

I wanted a gaming computer with a subdued look that can fit in my office, and doesn't scream "GAMER" when it's off. I also wanted a pre-built system, since I don't have much time to play games, and when I do, I want to spend time in game mode, not in system admin mode.
Lenovo took care of everything, and delivered a silent, stable, and performant platform. The T730 is impressive: 10 min out out of the box and I'm playing all my games on a water cooled i9 with an RTX 2080. I can tweak clock speed and RGB all in one place thanks to Lenovo's preinstalled management software. The DVD drive is a nice touch, I could load my old games like Oni and Myth TFL. And the system boots in 15 seconds, pretty impressive. And when I turn it off, everybody can forget it's there.
My only recommendations to Lenovo: make the management software more linear, so we can more methodically review everything; change the position of the cable strap so it doesn't interfere with the power cord; change the cable strap so it doesn't stick out to the side of the case; make the DVD cover slide more easily; add an air filter to the front; allow customization of the fan speed.

Gaming & Productivity System

Great value for the money! Top end CPU/GPU, with M.2 NVMe and room for storage expansion. I was looking for a custom build for gaming and productivity but with the money I saved and the fact that it met all the specs I was looking for made it a perfect match! The Nvida RTX2080 is compatible with my AMD FreeSync2 Lenovo monitor when connected using a Displayport cable and configured within the Nvidia Control Panel. Very quiet system while using it for the day job and the fans ramp up when intense gaming but at that point I have a surround sound headset on so all I hear is the action!
