[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this his vent. It's beautiful in my kitchen. 5 vent settings (low, med, high, turbo, and auto. But I like the lights the best. Two bright, front lights and a separate rear light that works more as a nightlight to give your kitchen a warm ambiance in the evenings. Love it!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have been using this range hood for five years over a six-burner gas cooktop and are really happy with its performance. The boost setting is super powerful for those searing moments! Man Chef of the house likes the auto setting function.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with function and design. Fits in with other Kitchen Aid appliances. one thing though! at 91 and failing eyesight it is difficult to see control panel positions.
I cant speak on the functionality of the product as we just installed it and haven't hooked it up yet. For such a nice unit, it was a shock to see how it little you had to go on for it to be mounted. The only recommendation I can give is to hope you hit a stud or have some blocking behind this unit. Its not super heavy but, heavy enough to be concerning if you don't hit a stud.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a home inspector and see on average 5 to 10 over range hoods a week. I was very adamant about purchasing a high-quality functional hood for my personal home. I've had this hood for three weeks and love the features and functionality of it. As it functions much easier than most of the hoods I encounter in my day-to-day life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hood is an attractive addition to my fabulous induction range. The electrician put it too high the first time and once it was lowered to a better level I was informed that I needed to purchase a section of 6" aluminum vent and a clamp to complete the installation. The electrician explained that it's standard practice to have this VERY IMPORTANT PART of the installation NOT included in the actual purchase of the hood! Okay. Got that! Now how on earth do I remove the sticky residue from the labels...?
