Plenty of power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks like a piece of professional kitchen equipment. It has gobs of power to remove odors but not sure about removing smoke as haven’t smoked up my place - yet. Great lights too.

Great looking product that I can't use

I have now been transferred 3 times in the 1.5hrs that I was on hold with Customer Service so here we go. The hood is amazing to look at but, I'm missing a part to be able to install the appliance on the wall. I am in need of a Vent cover bracket so I can cover up the vent pipe going to the ceiling. Upon opening the box and going through the installation instructions, it seems as though it was never placed in the box to begin with. Beautiful to look at but in need of a part and can't get help with getting one

Beautiful but but broke quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the canopy hood installed prior to moving into our new home and after being tested a few days later after working fine, we heard a noise like something was making contact with the fan. Turns out that some flapper piece turned downward and was making contact, which broke a few plastic fan pieces. Beautiful piece, but very unfortunate to have that happen after everything was all set in place.

Straight forward installation

My canopy hood died in 1 Year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hood fan has a great power and is really useful keeping my kitchen without smelling for the whole day and reminding us about the last meal. Nowadays, with open concept kitchens, this is a crucial piece of your kitchen.
The power of this device is great, but I’d never expect that a high end product like this would die around the 1 year of standard warranty. I particularly chose KitchenAid for seeing it as a reliable and trustworthy brand that would last for many years with no issues. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I noticed the vent wasn’t always work from the first push of a button, maybe second or third… it was working intermittently until it stopped. I called maintenance service and it seems the motor died and I’ll have to pay almost the same price as a new one to change it.
It’s a good product while it lasts. I expected it lasted more, but now I’m having to handle the fixing of it after such a short time. I’m frustrated.

Auto fan and the bright halogen lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the auto fan feature and the bright, bright halogen light. My kitchen doesn't stay as warm when I am cooking, because I vent all the hot air out. The lights make cooking easier to see.
