works as it should with a nice surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] was part of the package for the kitchen i decided to have in my new home. works as expected with a nice light feature. not only does it have the regular light in front of the unit but there is a rear light that has a nice look when turned on illuminating the tile work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Failed within Months -

I brought this venthood when updating my all of my kitchen appliances. Within 4 months of purchase the vent hood malfunctioned while automatically adjusting the speed to boost mode. The vent hood was so loud sounded like a small airplane, followed by internal parts rumbling. The vent hood simply makes a humming noise. The venthood was only used a handful of times before failing.

After a few years of ownership, I have noticed the following intermittent issues:
1) when trying to turn off the Light, the light does not turn off but the "Boost (10 min)" fan turns on.
2) the fan turned itself on. Auto Sense was not enabled. The cooktop was not in use.
