[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range hood is very quiet, very nice looking and easy to operate. It also has 3 lights, the one in the rear is a perfect night light!! Will never buy any other brand but kitchen aid

This vent hood was installed in our new construction home and we have been using for approx. 1 month. We love Kitchenaid appliances and chose this unit because of the name and the look. We wanted something that would look substantial on the wall above the stove. It gives great light (LED) for cooking by and the venting power is wonderful. We have no issue with being able to vent odors/steam. The chimney hood is substantial where as on some units it is just a narrow pipe. We love the look, functions/features and would highly recommend.

Can't really tell if this works well because I only set it to the first or second as the third and fourth are too loud. Consequently, I still feel like I can smell what I'm cooking throughout the house - something that some people enjoy but I do not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Chimney style hood

Installed with a new construction kitchen. Works well, though could be a little more powerful. Quiet enough even on highest setting.
