Very good lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mini lanterns were very easy to use, seem durable and are very bright. Also, they are convenient to open and close. The portability is another benefit as this size light can fit most places. The battery seems to be pretty decent as well.

Great lanterns!

Pros
- Lightweight
- Wire handles that can be used for hanging
- Small and easy to store. Collapsed they are about the size of a soup can. Expanded they are a little shorter than two soup cans
- Surprisingly bright for such a small size

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love these lanterns. They are great to have in case the power goes out or if going on a camping trip. We live in a very wooded area and these are great if going outside in the dark. We will definitely continue using these.

Fantastic lights!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a package of three and can’t believe how useful and great they are. Each of my kids keeps one in their bedroom. They use them if they want to read for a few minutes after we put them to bed. We also lost power recently and the lanterns were great. They are bright and turn on and off in a slick way. We love them and we have lots of flashlights.

Perfect For Kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice little lanterns for the kids to carry when camping. Bell & Howell 3 pack of Mini Tac Lanterns is a nice product to have for camping indoors or out with kids. These are so easy to use the kids don't bug us for help turning them on and off. You do need 3 AAA batteries for each lantern so investing in rechargeable batteries is a good idea. I was disappointed that these did not have a magnetic bottom like others we have had, but the kids love these. The lanterns are pretty compact so they don't take up much space in backpacks for our scout camp outs and they give off enough light that the kids can find their way around at night. We haven't dropped these much but one was still good after falling in a pond, unlike others we have had so I think these will definitely be around for a few more camping trips and pretend camping in the house.

They're compact, which is perfect for our young kids to use when camping, yet they're quite bright. They're super simple to use. Just lift the top to open and it turns on automatically. Close it and it turns right off. Each lantern takes 3 AAA batteries, which are not included. Each also has 2 little metal handles that flip up to hold. I find them very useful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent source of lighting when it comes to the power going out, while camping or even late night car troubles. I was pleasantly surprised at how bright these lanterns are! You would think with how small they are they wouldn't give off the same amount of light a bigger lantern does.
We just went camping, and it was nice going into the woods to use the bathroom with a light. I could see completely around me so no animals would get me which was nice! Very compact so traveling with them, they take up little space. I keep one in my car at all times now because you never know when you will get stranded and I know it will come in handy. Overall I am completely happy & definitely recommend!

Best Lantern for camping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for some multipurpose lanterns that will help me for backpacking and camping in northern michigan. These mini tac lanterns have been a great addition to my backpacking gear. They are small enough so that you can carry them to the nearby stream if you want to fetch water or just have them in the tent. They are very bright and three of them are enough to light up a camp site of 3-4 double tents. Highly recommended. Will update the review after 6 months .
