Perfect for training for triathlons

The screen is very visible and intuitive. I wish it had a magnetic charge - not just a backup battery magnetic charge

Going into my third summer with the edge, I still haven't tapped into all that this offer's. I'm a older, not very computer literate, but I've been able to follow the main benefits of the edge.

Good but after some time had minor issues

I have had garnin always but suddenly there are issues that according to garmin cannot be fixed. Buy a new one and we will give you 15% disc. This is out of warranty

It needs a fast and complete power down.

Plenty of features for on or off road cycling

I’ve been using the Edge 830 coming to a 2 year anniversary. I bought it as a bundle which it came with the Varia radar/light.
Edge 830 has an overwhelming amount of features that I feel that I haven’t used to its full potential. I’m not going into the details because it will take forever but it has helped to navigate routes, it warms me of upcoming sharp turns, picks up the upcoming climbs and displays the grade and length remaining of the specific climb I am currently on, data fields are customized to your liking, it offer customized workouts that you can do either outdoor or in your smart trainer. An over a good training tool. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because it does not display the Strava segments that I’ve starred and some have but are very random. I feel this is partly a Strava and Garmin connection that directly an Edge 830 issue.

My wife has owned this for a while but never have been able to get synced up properly to rwgps.The support staff was very helpful in walking me through the process and fixing what was an operator error on my part. I'm sure it was frustrating walking a 70 year old through the process, but in the end it was very helpful to us. I didn't remember all the names, but the last gentleman figured it out and it was a relief for me. Thanks to all.
