Garmin 530 Bundle

If you looking for an intro cycling GPS computer this is the way to go. It has a lot of features I know i will never use but still fits my needs. Easily integrates with Ride apps. Only thing I would improve is battery life. Charge before every ride!

Wish I'd upgraded sooner!

I upgraded to the 530 from the 520 plus, and I wish I'd done so sooner. This computer is a much needed improvement and I love it! The battery is better, especially with the Varia light and radar, which I really needed on long rides. It connects super-quick to the satellites, and on/off is much faster in general. The controls are the same as the 520, so there was no new learning. The set-up was fast and seamless, and my info from the 520 was transferred automatically with no issues. The crash detector and alert is much better as it is easier to disable the notification before it gets sent to your friend or family (on the 520, you had to go through a convoluted three button sequence to turn off the alert. Not that I fall often, but it was sensitive enough (in a good way) that when I fell over when I hit gravel when stopping because I wasn't able to get my shoe unclipped, the "crash detection" gave me 30 seconds to disable the notification before it alerted my partner -- disabling was just one easy button, unlike the 520). It's just a great computer for me who doesn't need all the extra workout bells and whistles. I ride mostly long endurance road rides, 50-100 miles a week during the summer season.

Great bike computer. Tracked all data very well. Syncing between the garmin and Strava can be challenging, though I understand it may be due to the Garmin severs having issues. Data screen customization is great.

The Garmin Edge 530 is a great cycling computer. It is not only very user friendly, but very accurate and has every option for me to continue to upgrade other gear for my bike. The capability and durability is fantastic and I highly recommend this for any level of cyclist.

great touch screen feature, 20 hr battery runtime, features like; turn by turn and weather alert

love the products it has so many nice features, I use it on my road rides, it even tell your weather conditions and weather alerts, such as flooding, it can also call someone for you in case of an emergency if you become impaired. good for everyone who wants the best of their bike ride or training. monitoring, cadence, power meter, heart rate, speed, distance, etc.

I bought this while training for my first century ride and to get more data than I could from an apple watch. I also wanted the speed and cadence sensors to improve the data from riding indoors on a simple resistance trainer. I was able to get more consistent data for both my outdoor rides and the indoor. The GPS seems to be accurate and reliable and the additional sensors rarely disconnected. I also really appreciated the routing features on longer rides, including the century. Some of the climbing features were great during long hill climbs to give me an idea of what was coming up and how long the climb would last. The 530 provides a lot of features and value if you don't need everything that the highest series offers.
