Good, not great

Replaced my Edge 810. 810 is better. Buttons are not as intuitive and the settings options are less than expected. Good battery life.

really not intuitive at all

needs more dumbed down video instructions for me i guess.
keep getting ready to ride, get frustrated getting the dash view and recording working like i want it to, get frustrated and track with my apple watch instead.

My favorite new Garmin

I've been using this now for a couple of weeks and wonder why I took so long to buy this. It is a game changer. I upload the routes from Ride with GPS and it works perfectly. When doing long rides with groups I never worry about getting lost when they get ahead of me. I just did a duathlon today and a whole lot of people missed a crucial turn but I did not. I love this thing!

After researching various models and brands I decided to purchase the Garmin 530. I’ve never had much interest in speed, heart rate, cadence, etc,. However, my thought was simple. If I’m going to put in the time why don’t I try to get the very most of every ride. After the initial setup was completed I have expanded the information with Strava and now I can see my rides, the various parts of my rides such as steep climbs and straightaways and see where the need to improve as well as working towards bettering my times on routes I have saved. I am very pleased with my choice and look forward to years of improving my rides and training.

Luddite Finally Sees the Point

I've cycled for decades, toured for years, but I was reluctant to embrace the cycle GPS over the phone or more often just dead reckoning. Though I have just scratched the surface of all the features I am very pleased with the Garmin Edge's ability to convey position, progress, and record ride stats for later review. This unit wonderfully integrates with a number of services to find good routes and share rides.

I never use this type of device and for the amount of money , I paid I was expecting the routes already in the device, ☹️

The product suggested a update as soon as I received it and the aft the update the 530 Is having trouble connecting to gps

I went from the 130 to the 530. The data page set up is confusing. It's hard to find. Once you find it ,it's easy to customize.
