I am pleased with my purchase. I was using a device that doesn’t have a quarter of the capability that the 530 has! Very excited to put this device on the road and utilize the tools available at my fingertips!

Great data, need better use case training

Loving all the stats, but turning all this data into useful information is a challenge for the beginner. It would be nice if the manual or online help included better explanations with use case examples: Guided pathways versus Q&As. I know there are training plans all set up on Connect, but I am still trying to work thru how to best apply them to improve my cycling fitness, but not go competitive. And as stated by others, the setup of the Garmin Edge is a chore and takes some trial and error.

Only missing one element

I’m enjoying the Garmin Edge 530 very much. Excellent layout and so far, in my only outing, I have only one wish: a wind speed & direction metric. But, the 530 read my sensors (Polar h10 heart & Bontrager Duotrap S speed & cadence), so no complaints!

Edge 530 is awesome. Very easy to customize with widgits and displays.
Weather notifications, and a bike alarm are cool features. I haven't had a Garmin device for a long time and was surprised how easy it was to set up. I'm a Garmin fan for sure now.
