Still kind of on the fence with this one

Pros: The aesthetic look is great, compact and not obstructing in anyway on the bike. The menu structure is intuitive if you have ever owned a Garmin device before. Battery life is great. Cons: The connect app on an iPhone still does not play well with the Edge 530, I have developed my own work, however the connection in Garmin connect always shows my Edge 530 as busy and wont communicate through Bluetooth only over WiFi. The feel of back button (bottom right) when pressed is not very tactile and feels very different from all the other buttons. Mine works and is not broken but does does not have that positive click that the other buttons have.
I've been using Garmin GNSS units for decades. The 530 is by far the best and a huge improvement over the 500 I'd been using (which was a good unit in its own right when it came out). The 530 is easy and intuitive to use. Lots of cool features. I especially love the jump stats. Number of jumps. Distance of jumps, including total distance. Air time. Integrates seamlessly with Garmin Connect. Although satellite acquisition and retention are good, I use all my GNSS units with the Garmin speed sensors. I also use the cadence sensor. Really happy with this product. (Note: I use GNSS because most global navigation satellite systems access other signals in addition to GPS. Saying "GPS" is incomplete and misleading. I'm a techie. Sorry.)
