It works as expected. I did switch from a Pioneer so there is a learning curve. The reason for the switch is because there isn’t a direct integration with the Garmin App. Yes, why does that matter...I have a 935 for running. So want all the data in one place. Two things I like better about the Pioneer- touch screen management and you can enlarge a specific field on the screen. This is more important if your eye sight isn’t that good. Just food for thought for Garmin

Fantastic best GPS on the market! Visability with larger screen very helpful, ability to customize main screen is spot on, the 530 provides more than enough metrics for pros, the 530 is an Epic GPS! Footnote gps signal should be fully aquired before starting ride, if not electro-magnetic signals near an air field or marina may impact accuracy.

Pretty typical Garmin

Display is better than the 520 and it works well enough. I don't care for the Garmin interface anymore since using a Wahoo, only went back as a devise I planned on using only was compatible with Garmin. The interface is the common, clunky, complicated beep fest of confusion, but it does work.

Bike shop "recommended" I have this. it's ok, but not exactly user friendly. Touch screen would be much easier.

I got my Garmin Edge 530 about three weeks ago! I have it synced with my mountain bike trails aps and it is amazing! It does everything it promises and more! Super durable, super easy to use and the screen is awesome, crystal clear and perfect size!! I couldn’t be happier and would recommend it all day everyday!!

I bought the 530 about 2 months ago. I use it every weekend and it works great. The information while riding is on point and easy to read. Wish I would have bought one sooner.

Documentation resources could be better

I purchased this unit to pair with a Quarq power meter (this is my first Edge bike computer). I have a several Garmin watches so have familiarity with the Garmin Connect interface, etc. Overall, the Edge 530 has been fairly intuitive to set up and use. However, I suspect I am just scratching the surface of the functionality of the 530. The documentation that came with the unit and, surprisingly, the information on line is quite limited. Not disappointed in the product, just anxious to explore the full capabilities of the unit.
