I have no problem with the edge 530 it seems like a nice device fairly easy to use. The only problem is with the RTL 515 radar device. Those ribber bands just don't do it. Also my seat post is not high enough to clear every thing for it to work properly. I had to find a mount I could connect to my rear mound I could bolt safely too. Don't know why Garmin doesn't do better than those rubber bands. l

Garmin really knocked it out of the park with these units. Even though the initial set up can be a little lengthy ( creating an account, building a profile, updating apps and maps, pairing phones, etc) once you're done, you are all set. The buttons are easy to use buttons, and navigating the screens is super simple. AND SPEAKING OF NAVIGATING, when it comes to route/ trail navigation, I don't think there is a better company. The only down side is Garmin doesn't YET play with Google Chrome, so you need a Windows or mac OS to really utilize all that these units are capable of. To counter what I just said, Apple or Android users no worries, Garmin connect works awesome with both OS.
I bought this because my iPhone / Strava kept dropping my GPS location on rides. I’ve got four rides on the Garmin for a little over two hundred miles both on and off road and it’s doing great! The routing is perfect for exploring new places. All the roads and trails show up. I really like the display showing how much more climbing I have left to the top. Only complaint is my virtual ride partner keeps finishing ahead of me. I’ve got to catch that guy.
I bought this product and really cant read maps Im a MTB not to use full on maps other things is great

Bought this a week ago and love all the information it provides. Calorie counts are dramatically different than they should be. A ride that is a 3,000 calorie ride shows as 1,550. Other than that I love it.
I really like this bike computer. As with most things Garmin, the user experience takes a little poking around to get used to, but once you do, it's a breeze. Simple to use, nothing fancy and unnecessary, and I love how easily I can get Strava routes I've created from my phone to the 530. Plus the ability for it to upload to Strava after the fact on its own! Highly recommend. If you really feel you need touch screen, the 830 might be the ticket, but for the price, and the fact that I'm wearing gloves most of the time anyhow, the 530 does the trick.
