I got this to upgrade from the 130 plus and it's a huge improvement. My only worry was that the large display would be fragile, but that concern was immediately put to rest when I went over the handlebars on its maiden voyage. I did snap the mount in half but the computer itself (once I found it) was totally fine.
Only giving 4 stars because the Trailforks integration isn't quite what I was promised it would be.

I got my edge 530 couple weeks ago and I’m just amazed, features are incredible, I love Climb Pro and the Training effect info… the size and design is perfect…. I had the Edge 1000 and it was a big change..

Very Small Viewing Screen, Intrusive App

Have found the viewing screen on this unit to be quite small when mounted on the handlebars, better to just use the phone itself since the Garmin Connect App needs to be running nearby. Also, the Garmin Connect app needs to have full access to address book and communications to function. Planning to return this unit.

Love my new Edge 530

It’s been on 4 rides so far and I love it for road and MTB. Easy set up easy to use. Yes, the buttons are a bit awkward to use but that is a minor issue imho.

Great changes since I last worked out

I'm an old man (72) and had gotten away from working out more than decade ago. Deciding to get off my couch and back to working out, I got a Mountain bike and got my road bike ready as well. The Edge 530 is fantastic for both. Links with Strava and gives me all the stats I want.
