Okay

The 530 is okay. I wish the side stop and start were located on top because they are hard to reach especially with any full winter glove on. Touch screen for me would be much more convenient to use. Also, I don't care for some of the notifications that show up and then covers up info on the bottom screen and then you have to push a hard to small button.

I have had my Garmin Edge 530 for about 3 weeks, and I think it’s great. It’s the first “real” bike computer I’ve owned. I’m really enjoying it.

Frustrating

Everybody raves about Garmin and while I love the features and the radar light, my new 530 is as temperamental as my outgoing 130 if you can somehow get it to do all it should on the day then there is no stopping garmin buts that’s a big IF. Frustrating experience in set up and my sensors and radar don’t want to connect or disconnect which means it’s hard to recommend.

I upgraded from a 520. The 530 has a much bigger screen, is much sharper, has many more features, a huge better life, etc....... Love it.

Great Features

Been using a 520 and 520-Plus for several years, but wanted a dedicated Edge for my new road bike. Considered the 800-series but elected to stay with the 500-series because of years of proven quality & reliability; purchased the 530 and cannot believe all the enhanced features & technology packaged into this Edge...essentially a 520/520-Plus on steriods ... MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
