Confusing controls

I'm finding the controls very confusing to use. And, I can't figure out yet how to replace the default ride screen with one that I prefer.

I purchased this for my gravel riding. It's so useful and informative, I've found myself pushing much harder on my rides because the information is just right in eyesight. I've put it into my mountain biking, too. Wonderful experience.

More than I could ask for....but missing one trick

The Edge 530 is packed with wonderful tools! However, it is missing one tool I need for training on the track..A Lap Counter. I've been told by Garmin Tech that this new unit will not do that function. It's a shame when you're cranking out sprints or rolling starts. But...this unit is tops for Bang for Buck and I'm looking forward to seeing all the great information it gathers for analysis. I really like the spacing between the buttons and the feel of the unit.

Overall very pleased.

I have been using for about two weeks. The navigation feature was essential on a recent gravel race in the boondocks of New Hampshire. Bluetooth with heart rate was seamless. Much better than my old Garmin Edge 500. I am still exploring features.

Navigation glitch

There is an entire forum dedicated to this crucial glitch. When navigating a downloaded route, the message "off course" followed by "make a U-turn" appears far too often, even though you are on course.

We would encourage you to check the software on the device using Garmin Express on your computer to make sure that the software and maps are up to date. Also please check that the device is getting a good GPS signal as well.
