Hoping I’ll figure it out soon.

Still trying to figure out how to get the maps to come up. At this point not very user friendly and not happy with it at all. Have been YouTubing it and just asked for some help from the bike shop I purchased from. But definitely not an out of the box easy to use purchase. Lil disappointed. But haven’t given up yet.

My favorite bike computer

I have been using the edge 530 for a number of years. I switched from an edge 800 series as I ride in the winter and the touch-screen is not usable. It has all the functionality I need and Garmin is adding new functionality regularly.

Not super user friendly

I work in tech so I’m generally pretty quick to understand and operating system. It’s been hard adapting to using this device as I’ve never had anything similar in the past. I watched a lot of videos to figure it out.

Great Bike Computer

Very happy with the edge 530. The benefits far surpass the one complaint I have so keep that in mind. My only complaint is the time it takes to upload an activity to garmin connect. Other than that minor detail, the edge 530 is a great tool for data visibility, nav and recording workouts.

Better instructions!!!!

I like Garmin bike products. The thing missing are good visual instructions to show ‘how to’ get more out of the unit. As an example, I don’t use or care about Strava. But I want to be able to wirelessly download courses from Ride w/GPS. Should be vetter explained.

This is an upgrade from a lost Edge 520+ Improved button operation and charging port cover. Setting up screen is a little more challenging. This is the max non-touch screen model. I would purchase it again.
