Great addition

We got me this bike computer because my husband has one and some of the trails we ride he is just faster than me so I tend to guess where he is going. This has been awesome in that we can download the trail we want to ride and follow it. That way he can go at his speed and I can go at my speed and still find each other. It has also been good to be able to follow him live.

I purchased the Edge 530 to replace my Edge 130. Even though it was more expensive the advanced features and size make it a great upgrade. It gives me all the information I need on a single screen. It seems to upload faster than my Edge 130 and the battery life is good.

Amazing tool to track my progression. Love that it seamlessly connects to the speed, cadence, and heart sensors. Love that I can control my Varia smart UT800 and Varia RTL515 directly from the head unit. I especially love the ability to download my group ride routes for turn by turn directions with voice prompts.

Hard to use interface

Hard to use navigation, the interface and electronics are dated like playing with an 80s hand held toy

This computer does everything I need and more. I linked my power meter pedals. So much information to keep your training on track.

I replaced my broken Edge 520 with the 530. It has some new features that the 520 did not have. I'm still navigating through them but it's an awesome unit.

A little short on instructions

I got this computer a couple of weeks ago and after a few hiccups it’s working great. I also got the Varian with it and I’m impressed with it. Having said that, I think there could have been a better instruction manual and even videos to help with basic functions. Most of the material I found online dealt with more advanced issues

Unbelievable you can’t adjust the settings with an app or pc.
Why is it not possible to add some poi / addresses with you’re phone
A small technical adjustment and uit would be perfect.

Very happy with it though. I use Komoot and that works smoothly
