Everything seemed fine until the latch buckle doesnt want to snap whenever baby is in the car seat and gets stuck and wont un snap to take it out of the base. Overall baby seems comfortable but factory manual on strapping the base to the car needs some realistic improvement. Almost didnt make it to our newborn’s follow up check up because her car seat wont snap into place.

I am so glad that I purchased this car seat! I first purchased a safety first car seat and stroller bundle but when I got it the car seat had no padding and I did not feel safe having my newborn in it!
This Graco car seat is AMAZING! My daughter was 5 lbs and this is exactly what I needed to make sure she is comfy and secure.
Moms get this if you are in the fence about it being too cushioned it’s perfect for a newborn

Among all Graco’s infant car seat models, this style (headrest and insert) is the best! It fit my 5lb newborn, and worked all the way until my child was 16 months old thanks to how tall the headrest can adjust. It didn’t cause slumping or bad head positioning like some of the other Graco models. The base is very easy to install. Only complaints are the weight (but I started to leave the seat in the car more when it was heavy) and the one handed handle adjust, while a GREAT concept, began to get stuck after 6 months of use and would be difficult sometimes to get past the second, semi-upright position to be moved all the way back out of the way.

We bought this car seat for our daughter and at 5 months old need to purchase another seat. The headrest is not removable and has become to small. Unfortunately we purchased an extra base and now need to find a seat that is compatible or purchase a new system all together.
