I purchased this because my only granddaughter was born at 30 weeks and had to stay in the NICU until she had developed systemically and was over 4 pounds. This car seat started with providing protection at 4 pounds. The design of the padding was perfect to nestle her body in and support during drives. We were able to take a 5 Hour trip. from our home to the beach with her and she was comfortable the entire way.

Headrest and Straps adjustment

I have had the car seat for 1 month already, baby is a month old now. Although it is a nice looking car seat I have to say I am disappointed. My little one is a big baby and I feel like he is way too snug in it and I can’t adjust the headrest and straps to his size. The headrest adjust to certain levels combined with the straps that Graco thought would be accurate. However each baby is different especially in height and weight. Either I have to adjust the headrest high for the straps to be correct leaving his head down low not leveled with the headrest or if I choose to level the headrest with his head then that leaves the straps way too tight on him. There is no adjusting it yourself. I don’t understand why they choose to do this. I don’t see my baby being comfortable in this in 3 months from now because I’ll have to raise the headrest to adjust the straps to his weight. That leaves not enough levels in the car seat left for my baby to grow into. I’m really upset because of how expense this car seat is I would hope it would lasts us longer than I predict it will.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comfortable

My only issue with this carseat is the headrest. Doesn't support my sons head enough.... his head is always falling over to one side. And the handle button gets stuck and doesn't wanna come back out. but other then the slight issues it's a good seat and high quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did a lot of research before choosing the car seat, looked at a lot of brands, read tons of reviews on a lot of different ones. I decided to go with this one because of the reviews, features, value for money and comfort. I'm glad i chose this one.

Questionable seatbelt strap system

I Bought the Snugride Snug Fit 35 LX in FINN and I also purchased the entire set up for the car seat canopy. I came to the conclusion that the straps are not removable (having a split plate) In order to install the car seat cover that covers the entire seat not just the canopy. Any suggestions? All of the YouTube videos I have watched in regards to installing show a split plate for The straps.

I bought this car seat for my baby and I loved it at first he seemed very comfy in it but then started having issues with the head rest being floppy. The reason why I bought it because I liked the headrest feature but now I am having this issue Not sure if anyone is having the same issue but I’m disappointed.
