The stroller canopy cannot close while the car seat handle is up, and the canopy to the car seat doesn’t meet the canopy to the stroller so rain will get on the baby. The basket is at a weird angle so everything falls to the bottom. When the stroller is in storage position the handle you push touches the ground and will get dirty if you have to close the stroller outside.
The wheels are easy to turn and all around it’s easy to navigate. It’s easy to take down (and only takes one hand) but it does take two hands to put it back up.

Great affordable option!

This stroller is a great affordable and easy to use option from Graco. I loved being able to go from box to completely setup in 10 minutes. I will say you definitely need to read the manual when putting on the rear wheels.

The infant car seat is very basic, but I appreciated the ease of use with it’s base and the stroller.

Lightweight and Compact

Our 9 month old baby boy absolutely loves all things outside. He will stare out the window for hours, try to quickly follow close behind when either of us open a door, and excitedly sit on the front porch to take in all of the sights. We love to take daily walks with him around our neighborhood (sometimes two or three!) and have been searching for a travel system that can be easily stored away after each use.
I was given the opportunity to try the Graco FastAction SE Travel System as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I was very excited to see that it was such a neutral color making it perfect for any baby! The car seat base was extremely easy to install in our vehicle and the car seat was easy to lock securely into place and remove from the base. The instructions for putting the stroller together were very clear, making assembly a breeze!
I love that the stroller can easily be collapsed using only one hand by pulling the straps that are located in the seat. However, I found opening the stroller to be more challenging while holding my baby because it requires you to pull the straps in the seat while simultaneously pulling up on the handle to unfold the stroller. The best part of the Graco FastAction stroller is that it is amazingly lightweight and compact! I haven’t come across another stroller that can be easily lifted with one hand and when folded up takes up such little space.
Like the stroller, the car seat is extremely lightweight. The car seat comes with a simple cushion that the baby’s back rests on. The material of the car seat is not very soft, but it seems like it would be easy to clean. Unfortunately, the canopy on the car seat makes an obnoxiously loud clicking noise when you open and close it – so obnoxiously loud that I imagine it would easily wake a sleeping baby. Also, it seems to me that the canopy on the car seat is rather small. When using the canopy on the car seat with the canopy on the stroller, sunlight is able to easily be blocked from shining in the baby’s face, but when used alone, it does not come down far enough to block sunlight from the baby very well.
While the car seat and stroller adequately functioned separately, I was not impressed with how they functioned together as a travel system. I found it very difficult to connect the car seat to the stroller. It took me several minutes to make sure that both sides of the car seat were properly clicked into the stroller and it was just as difficult to unlatch the car seat from the stroller.
Overall, I was very disappointed in the quality and design of the the Graco FastAction SE Travel System. I feel that baby products that will be used frequently should make the lives of parents easier and not more stressful. If you do not have a lot of extra storage space and are looking for a travel system that is lightweight and compact, this is the travel system for you! If storage is not an issue for you, I would strongly recommend finding a product that is easier to use while juggling a squirming baby in your arms.

Must have for you and baby

Honest review... I received this product thru weeSpring parent panel. Being able to travel with my baby and get him from car to stroller and anywhere is important, but complicated for me. See, I have a deteriorating hip, which carrying anything too heavy causes me pain. This travel system has been a God send. my baby is 5 months and he can fit in the car seat rear facing comfortably and in the stroller with the quick snap of the car seat to stroller or just in the stroller along with no problem. The stroller is lightweight, compact, doesnt take up too much room in the house or the trunk. It's easy to unfold and fold up. I give this travel set an A+ for my baby and for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stroller/carseat combo 2.5 years ago for my daughter (she was a newborn at the time). They have both been great, easy to use, seemingly comfy, wipeable, and the stroller folds up super easily. Also affordable! My only (minor) complaints would be regarding the stroller. The cup holder for the child in the tray is not wide enough to hold a lot of our sippy cups, which can be a bit inconvenient at times. Also after two and a half years of use the stroller is getting hard to turn and requires a lot more force than it used to. We may just need to give it a good cleaning and try oiling the wheels...maybe? Overall it was a good purchase though and I would recommend it to a friend.

Mostly good, some bad

I just purchased this and put it together. Here are my first impressions.
It was easy and straightforward putting it together.
I don't know why Graco would make any strollers these days without a window flap in the canopy. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't want one. And it isn't a part I can purchase separately either, so there is no way for me to fix this without buying a whole new stroller. The manual says some models have this but as far as I can tell, there is no way to find out which ones.
I would have to say that the size and slope of the basket leave a little to be desired. It looks like it would be somewhat difficult getting things in it when completely reclined.
The canopy on the seat and the canopy on the stroller don't go well together. I'd like it if one overlapped the other to give complete coverage. This would be extremely helpful in a rainy environment or for nap time.
Folding is incredibly easy. Unfolding is a little harder, but not too bad. I like the one hand fold without having the fold mechanism on the handle. It is the main reason I picked this model.
The car seat doesn't slide in as easily as I'd like, but I would imagine it will get easier with some extra weight and use.

Folded In While In Use

We received this as a baby shower gift off of our registry. My husband and I have used it for the last 5 months, and liked it. Today, we took a walk with my 6 month old son on the sidewalk in our neighborhood when all of a sudden the stroller folded in like it does when you go to stow it in your car. My son’s car seat was snapped in and we followed all of the same procedures we always do when we put him in. For some reason, as we were walking, the stroller just folded up, and the car seat with my son inside just toppled upside down onto the concrete. It was terrifying. We honestly don’t feel comfortable putting him back in it because we don’t know why this happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
